Coach Otávio began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at just seven years old and has built a strong competitive background through years of dedication to the sport. A brown belt under Morselli Jiu-Jitsu, he has earned multiple podium finishes at IBJJF Opens, including a second-place finish at the 2026 IBJJF Pan Championship.

Known for his modern, competition-focused style, Coach Otávio brings high-level technique and energy to every class. As part of the MJJ coaching staff, he is passionate about helping students of all levels grow in confidence, skill, and performance on the mats.

My son used to go to another local jiu-jitsu academy, although he did good there it was a struggle to get him motivated to go. Since we enrolled at Morselli Jiu-Jitsu Academy my son can't wait to get to class and he is so motivated to strive among his peers. I noticed a big difference on his progress since he joined Morselli Jiu-Jitsu academy, he is learning fast while having fun.

The instructors and professors are very welcoming and attentive to the kids development, Professor Jair Morselli is very present at his business and I love that he runs the place with his family.
