Professor Jair Morselli

Professor Jair began his Jiu-Jitsu journey in Brazil in 1996 and moved to the United States in 1998 to continue his training at BTT Boston. Now a fourth-degree black belt, he has built an impressive competition career with over 40 podium finishes, including multiple medals at the World Championships and Pan American Championships.

As the proud owner and head instructor of Morselli Jiu Jitsu Academy in Taunton and Attleboro, Professor Jair is known for combining high-level technical expertise with a passion for teaching and developing students of all ages.

Under his leadership, the academy has grown into a strong and supportive community, highlighted by the continued success of its youth competition team, which has earned numerous podium finishes and strong performances across local and regional tournaments.

Today, Morselli Jiu Jitsu continues to thrive as a place where both kids and adults build confidence, discipline, and real competition experience in a positive and structured environment.

I originally started my BJJ journey in 2020 and took a long break. When I got back into it, I decided to go this gym. The instructors are incredible and take the time to explain how to do everything. My son used to go to another local jiu-jitsu academy, although he did good there it was a struggle to get him motivated to go. Since we enrolled at Morselli Jiu-Jitsu Academy my son can't wait to get to class and he is so motivated to strive among his peers. I noticed a big difference on his progress since he joined Morselli Jiu-Jitsu academy, he is learning fast while having fun.
