Competing against some of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athletes from around the region, Team Morselli showed the preparation, discipline, and determination that goes into competing at a high level.

Every Morselli athlete who competed at the New York Summer Open earned a spot on the podium.
The results included gold, silver, and bronze medals, giving the team an impressive eight medals from eight competitors.
More importantly, the results reflect the work these athletes put in every week during training. Competition is an opportunity to test skills, learn from each match, and continue developing as a Jiu Jitsu athlete.

Building a Strong Adult Competition Team
Competition is an important part of the culture at Morselli Jiu Jitsu Academy. Our adult program is designed to help students develop their technique, conditioning, confidence, and ability to perform under pressure.
Whether someone is training for their first tournament or has years of competition experience, the goal remains the same: train consistently, improve every day, and become a better Jiu Jitsu practitioner.
Our team regularly competes at events throughout the region, including IBJJF tournaments and other major Jiu Jitsu competitions.
The New York Summer Open was another opportunity for our athletes to challenge themselves and represent the academy on a big stage.
